Caring for a Christian foster child
As specialists in Christian foster care, we know how important a child’s connection to God can be during such an emotional time in their lives - and beyond. That’s why we take great care in ensuring we match Christian foster children with families that can meet their religious needs as well as provide a safe, loving home.
At ACS, we need more Christian families to come forward and foster Christian children to help them stay connected to the church as they heal from their pasts. They need the support and guidance from foster parents who understand and respect their beliefs. Coming into care is a distressing and confusing time, and we don’t want children to lose a part of themselves that brings them comfort – their Christianity. From observing religious holidays to going to church, being with a family that shares the same values can help Christian foster children thrive in their new home.
If you’re interested in becoming a foster parent to a Christian child or teenager, please get in touch today. Our expertise in Christian foster care combined with your love, support and commitment can change a child’s life for the better.
Fostering with a specialist Christian fostering agency
The most important thing for any child in care is to ensure they are placed into a warm and loving home. However, we also know that a child’s religion is a huge part of their identity, so it’s our mission to ensure the young people that come into our care continue to feel connected to their Christianity. As a multi-cultural foster care agency, we have a multi-disciplinary team made up of people from all walks of life, backgrounds and faith. This gives us extensive knowledge and first-hand experience of different religions and cultures, all of which can be passed on to our amazing foster parents so they can provide the best care possible.
